Stacey Jamison is a lecturer at Oakland University, teaching Applied Bassoon and Woodwind Methods. In addition to this position, she is a long-time member of the Oakland Symphony Orchestra, and in these dual roles also functions as a student mentor in the bassoon section.

Stacey is a highly sought-after woodwind doubler, performing on all woodwinds, for professional and community music theater productions throughout Southeast Michigan and Western Ontario, including frequently with Oakland University.

Stacey has maintained an active home studio of bassoon, flute, saxophone and clarinet students since moving to the area in 2004, facilitating student success from strong beginnings all the way to preparing students successfully for All-State auditions and college applications. She is also a long-time woodwind instructor with the multi-state-championship Ferndale High School Marching Band and for other band programs around Metro Detroit. In addition to this active schedule, she also finds time to lead the children's music ministry at her church in Ferndale. During this time, she presented at the Michigan Music Conference with the African Drumming Ensemble from Vandenberg Elementary in the South Redford Public Schools.
